3. User Responsibilities & Data Security

Many of our tools (such as S Noter) operate on a “Client-Side Only” basis, meaning data is stored locally on your device.

  • Data Backup: You are solely responsible for backing up your data. Samyak Online Services does not store your private content on its servers and cannot recover data lost due to cleared browser cache, device failure, or uninstallation of the Services.
  • Credentials & PINs: If a Service requires a PIN or password for encryption, you are responsible for maintaining its confidentiality. We cannot reset PINs or decrypt data if you lose your credentials.
  • Lawful Use: You agree not to use the Services for any illegal activities or to store content that violates any third-party rights.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, code, logos, designs, graphics, and software available through SamyakWeb.com are the exclusive property of SamyakWeb.com.

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the tools for personal or professional use.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of our source code or branding without express written permission.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Services may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., Google Drive API for sync, Firebase for authentication). Your use of these features is also governed by the respective terms and privacy policies of those third-party providers.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. SamyakWeb.com makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or security of the tools. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Terms of Use for S Noter

Effective Date: March 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using S Noter (“the Tool”), developed by SamyakWeb.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Tool.

2. Description of Service

S Noter is a Progressive Web App (PWA) providing encrypted note-taking, folder management, and optional Google Drive synchronization. The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

3. User Responsibilities (Critical – Please Read)

  • PIN Management: You are solely responsible for remembering your 4-digit security PIN. Because S Noter uses end-to-end local encryption, SamyakWeb.com cannot recover your PIN or your data if the PIN is lost.
  • Data Backup: You acknowledge that browser-based storage (IndexedDB) can be volatile. It is your responsibility to perform regular backups using the “Export JSON” feature or “Google Drive Sync.”
  • Device Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device on which you use S Noter.

4. Intellectual Property

All code, design, logos, and branding related to S Noter are the intellectual property of SamyakWeb.com. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the source code without written permission.
  • Use the Tool for any commercial resale purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the encryption implementation for malicious use.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use S Noter for any unlawful activities, including but not limited to storing illegal content, infringing on intellectual property rights, or attempting to disrupt the service’s integrity.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SamyakWeb.com and its developers shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss of data due to forgotten PINs, browser crashes, or cleared cache.
  • Unauthorized access to your notes resulting from a compromised device.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Tool.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

SamyakWeb.com does not warrant that the Tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We provide no guarantee regarding the permanence of the data stored within the browser’s local environment.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to modify or terminate the service at any time without prior notice.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi/NCR.
